Corona crisis – Impact of COVID 19 pandemic on the real estate business in Mallorca
As part of the global response to the COVID19 pandemic the Spanish government has issued a Royal Decree imposing a national curfew from 15th March 2020. Since 17th March 2020 it is no longer possible to enter the Balearic Islands as a tourist. On 23th March 2020 the national curfew has been prolongated to 12th April 2020.
Protection for the inhabitants of the Balearic Islands
These measures have been introduced to protect the islands and their inhabitants - the current infection rates here are still very low compared to the rest of Spain. And the hospitals are well prepared and equipped. Those currently living on the island can feel safe, the movement of goods is secured and there are no supply shortages.
