The building was constructed originally in 1870 and was restored in 2002. It consists of a grand Mallorcan manor house with numerous rooms to its left and right which surround the generous and lovely inner courtyard. From here the impressive sweeping views can be enjoyed whilst relaxing and enjoying a hearty breakfast. The pool area with sun loungers and grassy sunbathing areas and palm trees, and the garden are also situated on the slope. The palms provide natural shade.

The hotel is entered through a beautiful and authentic reception area with marble pillars, and on the ground floor is also the large dining hall with space for at least 16 persons, a bar, a recreation room with numerous tables, the gastro-kitchen and 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and their own living areas. A third double bedroom with bathroom could be used, for example, for personnel. All rooms are wonderfully decorated with artistic embellishments made, in part, of gold leaf. The reception, the kitchen and one of the bedrooms all access the large inner courtyard with its open views of the mountains, the pool and the surrounding countryside.

The upper floor of the house has 4 further, wonderful double bedrooms, also with decorations with and without gold leaf on the walls and ceilings. All these bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and a living area. On this level there is also a recreation and reading room and access to a large balcony with breathtaking sweeping views.

The large inner patio with ample space for tables and chairs and a beautiful garden area with a saltwater pool of approx. 10 x 4.5 metres present the perfect places to relax and pass the time, and there are also rooms for cosmetic treatments, a spa and a sauna to complete the atmosphere of well-being. A further 2 apartments are accessible from the inner courtyard and have a double bedroom, bathroom and their own living areas which are reached via a staircase. One of them also has a separate terrace, a utility room, storage rooms and a bodega.

Another absolute highlight is a small, quaint chapel with a number of rows of seats where there is also a bodega and various storage and utility rooms.

Further features of the hotel include a ventilation and air conditioning system with air renewal which automatically keeps the temperature and humidity at the required levels, an automatic irrigation system for the garden, many wooden, high ceilings with and without gold leaf decorations, and marble bathrooms almost all of which have towel heaters and bathtubs. Location & surrounding area:

Costitx belongs to the ancient Mallorca, located between Inca and Sineu and nowadays has some 967 inhabitants (2007). Besides relevant archaeological findings from the talajotic culture dated VI century, it is the site if Mallorca’s only astronomic observatory (planetarium). The center of the village is mostly characterized by houses of the XVII century. The surroundings, as well is all other places in the middle of the island, are mostly agricultural and belong to a region called 'Pla de Mallorca' (Plain of Mallorca).
