Since the Formentor peninsula can only be reached by land via a single road, it offers not only a unique and romantic panoramic view of the cliffs and beach but also another, very important advantage: complete security.<\/p>\n<p>On arrival in Formentor, where there are a mere 50 properties, one has the sense that time is standing still, and one is literally led into an <b>oasis of peace and security<\/b>. This is most certainly one of the many reasons why the world-famous five-star <b>Hotel Formentor<\/b> has been able to boast an international, highly exclusive clientele for over 75 years.
