Location & surrounding area:
In the southest of Majorca there are the mountains of Serra de Llevant and some convents that characterise this area. The convent of Santuari de Sant Salvador for example that is close to Felanitx is situated in an altitude of 508 m and offers a fantastic view of the whole island. Water sports is also very significant. Innumerables coves are ideal for snorkelling. Potochristo, Cala d´Or and Portocolom belong to the most famous marinas. There are also some golf courses. The most important villages are Felanitx and Santanyi.
