Details:
This building dates back to 1680 and is a perfect example of a structure of its time. There are few of these buildings available on the market today and this one has been tastefully protected with a new roof with perfect insulation. There is a new floor between the two stories.
Practically all of the old stone has been revealed and the staircase is also made of old stone. The new wooden beams are trunks of Galician pine trees. In the kitchen area there are canes between the beams. There is a marvelous "Umbomba" fire place as were in the large old mallorquian country houses. There is a pear shaped original water cistern which holds 50,000 lts of water.
On entering into the 125 sqm downstairs of the house, there is a large open space 70m and the staircase goes up from this space. To the left is the kitchen where there is a marvelous "Umbomba"fire place as were in the large old mallorquian country houses. The same space is to be found on the first floor and can be finished as the buyer wishes.
